With the pivotal role, which Insurance-Linked Securities (ILS) are playing in the closing the Protection Gap and clear demand for impact investing amongst institutional investors, the point of ILS knowledge gap is coming to light as well. A better understanding of the matter can help traditional markets and governments transfer risk more efficiently.

With so far 75+ alumni from 35 countries including key industry players, regulators and sovereign pools our programme uncovers the magic of ILS from three different perspectives: as uncorrelated investment asset class, as reinsurance alternative risk transfer mechanism and as a regional/sovereign post-disaster risk finance solution.
