The Global Shield Solutions Platform (GSSP) is providing support to the Southeast Asia Disaster Risk Insurance Facility Insurance Company (SEADRIF) to expand Climate and Disaster Risk Finance and Insurance (CDRFI) capabilities across the region.
This collaboration aims to assist member nations in enhancing their resilience and response strategies for climate-driven events.
With the funding of GSSP, a multi-donor fund that provides quick, pre-arranged insurance and emergency funding to climate-vulnerable developing countries, SEADRIF will implement a programme of insurer engagement, risk data analytics and knowledge-sharing activities.
